SLX

Sale price Price $5,499.00 CAD Regular price $7,299.00 CAD

Built from the same all-carbon chassis seen throughout the range, but in a more wallet-friendly configuration, the no-compromise Dreadnought SLX packs enough firepower to pummel the opposition into retreat. Upfront, the 170mm travel, Charger 2.1 equipped RockShox Zeb Select + fork is paired to perfection by a custom-tuned Fox X2 shock. The suspension is amplified further by the Trifecta system, decimating square edge hits for breakfast, all thanks to its 100% rearward wheel path, while simultaneously eliminating unwanted drivetrain forces with ease. Delivering a consistent ride experience across the size spectrum and an unrivalled level of balance and composure, our One Ride geometry helps to differentiate the Dreadnought even further from the competition. A bike that likes to play, but not by the rules, the Dreadnought SLX thrives in environments once the reserve of downhill thoroughbreds.

High Pivot Witchcraft

The most obvious feature of our Trifecta suspension system is the high pivot point and the resulting rearward axle path it produces. Unlike some other frame designs that talk of a rearward portion of their axle path, the height of our main pivot within the frame structure means our axle path takes a completely rearward trajectory throughout its travel. This rearward motion allows the rear wheel to move with, not against, any size of impact. This, in turn, allows the bike to remain composed and maintain momentum through rough terrain.

Bigger, burlier and ready for anything, this mountain taming bruiser of a bicycle knows no bounds, and neither will you. Expanding our category defying High Pivot design from the Druid and applying it to a platform for the extremes. A DH bike in all but the small print, ready for the rowdiest back-country lines, the steepest race stages and the shadiest gaps in the bike park. Bring the big guns, bring the Dreadnought and FEAR NOTHING.
